Our goal is to inspire a movement of people living boldly through climbing and creativity.
About
For many, climbing is seen as a “thrill seekers sport”. The adrenaline-fueled intersection between athleticism and danger for those who have no fear of heights and laugh in the face of death.
But those who spend time on the wall know that climbing is much more than just an activity—it’s a holistic practice that shapes us physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.
The mission of Live Boulder goes beyond just climbing. We are dedicated to capturing and sharing what it really means to live life boldly. Rooted in Harford County, Maryland, we use visual storytelling to inspire people of all backgrounds to push their limits and embrace a life of courage and exploration.
Live Boulder is also committed to creating a community were no one feels like they are alone in the world, providing a fun atmosphere were they are free to push the boundaries of what they believe to be possible, and ultimately empowering them to find and pursue their path in life.
We are dedicated to fostering connections between real people, empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities, and ultimately enhance their overall well-being.
Whether you're crushing routes or facing life's toughest challenges, we hope to inspire you to embrace fear, develop resilience, and push past your limits in the gym, at the crag, and in everyday life.
Core Values
Send Mentality
Send · /send/ verb - To finish a climb from start to finish successfully.
Send it.
A phrase uttered by climbers everywhere and the more you climb, the more you understand that the Send Mentality is not just a helpful climbing mindset, but a tool that will take you higher than you every thought possible.
It’s goes far beyond the wall. To “send it” means learning how to overcome the challenge in font of you, push past your fears, and finishing what you started. It’s about follow through, commitment, and the pursuit of your own potential.
That is the Send Mentality.
Serve Others
Sending a route takes two people; the climber and the belayer
While the climber gets the satisfaction of topping a route, the belayer holds the rope, providing support, stability, and security for the climber. We believe in the importance of serving the community around us and that we are called to be bold, not just for ourselves, but for those around us. Serving others means being there for them, encouraging them to take bold steps while letting them know that they are not alone. True service requires us to be present, selfless, and ready to lift others up.
In both climbing and life, we can find immense fulfillment in our commitment to serve others because the greatest strength is not found in whoever can climb the hardest but rather in whoever is willing to hold the rope for someone else.
Steward the Environment
Part of our responsibility as climbers lies in prioritizing the stewardship of the environment through dedicated sustainable practices and active promotion of ecological responsibility. Without the outdoors, rock climbing as a sport never would have existed. This is why we strive to lead by example in creating a greener, more sustainable future for all.
